Remy Rebecca Romney

this week on the 28th she will be 5. My baby is growing up. She LOVES everything GiRlY, but LoVeS to get dirty and play RoUgH with the boys. She can BeAt up her 3 older brothers and can take it when they beat her up! Remy loves MuSiC and Dancing and wants to be big like the cheerleaders. She Loves to RiDe her Bike and jump on the trampoline. Her BaBy DoLls and her barbies love to be played by her. She is her DaDdys GiRl. But her Mom loves to PaMPer her! And her BrOthers all SpOiL her We All LOvE REmY! She brightens up the RoOm when she walks In! Life would be DuLl without HeR.

JV bball

Baylor has had a hard time recovering from his football hip injury, but he was still able to play JV basketball this year. He has had fun going on the trips and playing as much as his hip would let him, The JV boys had to go to a Varsity tournament to fill in for our Varsity team that was suspended from a couple of games and they did pretty good, the JV team consists of mostly 8th and 9th graders. His first love is football but hes still a pretty good baller.

January 6th

Today we celebrated 16 years of marriage! Remy and I had fun making sugar cookies for Cade. I love being married to him!

I was downloading pictures and came upon some pictures the kids must have taken from their wild cousin New Year Eve party. They drank LOTS of IBC rootbeer played hide and seek and had lots of fun, The older Boys had even more fun though. tate got a dart board for Christmas and some of the boys found it and had lots of fun throwing the darts not only at the board but all over the wall until the plaster fell off. Baylor, Gunner and Jackson had even more fun replastering and painting the wall last week to fix it! I should have snapped a shot of the wall before it was fixed but I didnt. They now know better!

2010 Top Ten

Happy New Year! 2010 has come and gone and I wanted to do our top ten list before we get even further into 2011. so here is goes, my family wasnt too cooperative in coming up with their favorite things that happened so most of this was made by me.
in NO PARTICULAR ORDER:

1. Jeni got through the year still having all 4 of her grandparents living, this is a miracle after the scares we had this year. I am thankful for each one of them and their great examples in my life!
2. The 2 older boys played jr. high football Gunner DID NOT get hurt, Baylor DID.
3. Jeni and Cade traveled a bit (and the kids thought it wasnt fair) we also celebrated our 15 year anniversary in January .
4. Our family trips this year were interesting. We had a great week at the beach in San Carlos , MX in May. WE had a miserable week at the beach in San Diego in July ( The SUN NEVER CAME OUT) . On our snow ski trip in January the cabin caught fire and we had to rip the whole fireplace apart to put it out. Mom and Baylor went on a whirlwind church history trip back and forth to Nauvoo. We went to Phoenix so may times I cant remember! But we have put 16000 miles on our car since July 1st.
5. Cade got hailed out for the 3rd year in a row.
6. Cade kayacked down the Piedras Verdes river ( the one that goes from the mountains in sonora thru our town) on a maiden voyage expedition losing his shoes, sunglasses, blackberry and risking his life, but he says hes ready to do it again!
7. We enjoyed having all our Romney cousins here for the whole summer!
8. I rediscovered my love for waterskiing this summer after having a boat again.
9. We made it through the year without moving or having to leave because of one thing or another, and we were pretty close to leaving.
10. and last but not least... My blog became worthwhile after I published the last 2 1/2 years into a family scrapbook!


Heres to another great year of ups and downs...Lets hope its mostly an up year.
