Hes 14 !

We had to do the presents last night because today he was Goin' Fishin ! I hate to see this boy grow up, buying presents is different that it used to be, these days its all about gadgets instead of toys!!! But ...Im glad this obedient, responsible boy is my oldest. He is such a joy in my life! He takes the car now and on Sunday he took little red to do fast offerings, I needed to get something out of it and noticed all the doors were locked. I have never locked the doors and I always leave the keys in it also, He is more responsible than his mom. Lets hope he is that responsible with his new gun he also got for his bday! Now if we can get it into MX!

We love you Baylor boy!

Prom

The pictures are blurry, our photographer was 9. But we had a fun Dinner, Prom and after party. Prom here isnt rent a resort and go, its decorate the gym for 2 weeks, practice a floorshow, present it for the parents and then dance the night away with your parents and whoever else wants to go. We stayed for the floorshow that I had been helping with and then had some friends over for a wild party! Living in the middle of nowhere sometimes makes things more fun when you have to plan and actually make your own entertainment!

HOLES

One Saturday for work, Cade had the boys dig a 3x3 foot hole. In our backyard there is a spot that doesnt drain so he was going to fix that. Instead of just doing it themselves, they decided to hire the whole neighborhood.

The ground is VERY hard and very rocky so it took them quite a while.
after I went outside to check on them this is what I found, No wonder it took so long!!!

Scouting.

Here are my 2 boy scouts. Scouting isnt their favorite thing, but they started so they are going to finish, we have one who lacks a project to be an Eagle and the other one just starting. I just wanted to get a picture of them together and it was not easy! Oh I did find their hankercheif slides so their bandanas didnt look as ridiculous as they do in these pictures!

Change.

After 4 years, 7 counselors, 3 secretaries, 5 music leaders, 3 piano players and many beautiful children, This era comes to an end. I have thorougly enjoyed being in the primary. I feel it is the BEST calling in the church. I love to hear the childrens talks and testimonies, and I have loved learning from them. I was blessed to be able to be in there for the 2 months that all 4 of my children were in primary. I will miss all the bright faces each Sunday and I will miss being where my children are. but...change has to happen. Thank You to all the teachers and leaders who have helped me in this calling. Someday I hope to be back!
