This past week the High School girls challenged some of us women to a flag football game, so we got our team together practiced a few times and were real worried about our competition. Well we didnt need to worry too much...We WON!!! It was so awesome amd exhilerating to play football. Thanks to Kristy, Mary, Laurice, Janae, Meredith, Chantelle and Meghan for being great teammates... until next time! And Cade and Danny were great refs.

images from the last few weeks....
These are some random pictures of whats been going onin our house...
Remy went to a fun American Doll birthday party.
Tate, Me, Gunner and Baylor all had the stomach bug last week and this was the scene at our house. We've been spending lots of time swimming laying out and getting tan, And this was the mothers day breakfast Cade and the kids prepared for me in bed on Mothers day! Baylor smiling for mom on mothers day. Besides those things we have had spring football, flag football, lots of days off from school, the walk a thon, lots of kids over to play and we've been mowing the lawn alot!
...and the graduation.
Last year about this time I blogged about Remys pre-school graduation, well shes doing it again. She was not old enough to go th kinder this year so she had to do it all over again. Remy was the teachers helper most of the time. All the girls is the class spoke only Spanish and the boys spoke only English so Remy found herself in the middle most of the time, learning enough spanish just to play with the girls when she didnt want to hang out with the 4 boys. Thank you Delma for being a great teacher, she sure had her hands full this year. Each day Remy would come home and give me the low down of which boy was being the bully and beating up who that day!
Last Day of Pre School
Last Wednesday was my baby's last day of Preschool. I had mixed emotions on this day, first it means we are beginning to see the light of summer but also it means I will be an empty nester next year. What will I do with myself all day. It makes me sad to see her growing up but I love the little girl she has grown in to. She is more than ready for kinder , but I dont know if I am!

Nonny and Poppy 70 years.
After Disneyland we went on over to Waddell (the edge of Phoenix) to stay with my family for a few days. Cade met up with us there for a day or two. But the main reason we went was to celebrate my Nonny and Poppy's 70th wedding anniversary
. Nonny and Poppy are my dads parents. My mom and cousins organized a big open house for this event. All my brothers and sisters were able to come so it was fun being with them also. My Nonny and Poppy have been great examples in my life. I am greatful that I was able to grow up close to them and my cousins. Growing up my cousins Amy and Kari and I used to have sleepovers at their house we had fun times playing uno, playing in the treehouse Poppy built, playing dress up, having our cooking classes ( Nonny is the worlds best dessert maker.I did not take after her!) going to cake auctions and making Poppy buy all the cakes. Some great memories, Its hard that we dont see eachother much any more so this was a fun night. Nonny just turned 91 and Poppy will be 93 soon. My camera battery died just as the night began so I will post more pictures when my parents send some!
We love our Nonny and Poppy and hope for many more memories and years with them!

Spring Break week 2...country kids go to Disneyland.
I got it in my mind this year that I was taking my kids to Disneyland for spring break. Disneyland is my FAVORITE place and I have to visit every year or so. This time we took Tanner and Aunt Silvia with us. The husbands couldnt join us due to the planting season. It was 2 days of perfection! We were worried about crowds, but I guess having a late spring break is worth it!
The boys had great fun on the tea cups and chose the pink one. Remy decided the teacups were her favorite ride and made me go 5 times with her!
Day 2 was California Adventure the kids walked on to California Screaming 6 times and Silvia decided once was enough for her! I love all the rides but this one is at the top of my list.
I had a great time with my 4 kids! I dont know who had more fun me or them!
By the end of the day the boys were posing for their pictures.
The world of color water show was AMAZING!!! Just seeing that was worth 2 twelve hour days of driving! My kids are at the perfect ages to have fun with right now. As much as I wished that Cade could have been with us...They were great company.
