A crossroads.

Right now I am sitting at my parents house in Wadddell, AZ contemplating what the next few weeks will be for me, Cade and the kids. We just pulled in here yesterday from a great week at the beach in North San Diego again. I love the beach and the fun times we have together as a family there. This summer has flown by and I realize its not quite over , but as we return home to Mexico tomorrow , reality hits. We have decided to give our kids opportunities that they wouldn't have living where we do. As a family we are moving out to El Paso on a trial basis (I guess) ,leaving our home and the only place my kids know as home. I am nervous and excited at the same time. I have a week to decide what to take, what we will need, what to do about this and that, and at the same time worry about dumb things. My kids have been raised in a bubble, and have never eaten in a cafeteria! I know we are leaving a perfectly good place to raise our children, but I hope we can take with us all that we have learned in the Colonies and use it in the "Big" city. I am excited to watch each of my children develop their talents in sports and other activities. I am excited to have different programs in the schools so my kids will learn different things. I am excited to have new experiences. I need to look at these things because if I dwell on what I will miss I cant stop crying. The good thing is we can come home as much as possible, because my home is in the colonies and it will always be!

What Remy does...

During the week of football Remy was quite bored, thanks to some bars at Tates camp and the swimming pool she was saved!

So we came up here for football camp. We had a blast! The boys loved each of their camps, this year Bay was in the HS one, Gunner in the jr.high, and Tate in the Cubs. Monday morning was a chaotic day trying to get each of them checked in and Courtney into her tennis, I was glad to get that all done. After that we just made the rounds each day to the camps watching them.

My sister Katherine works in the athletic dept. so she was able to take us on a tour. Kaled and Braxton HAtch were there with us.

My skinny little boy! All 3 did real well, Gunner made the all camp team being one of the youngest there. We cant wait for next year. We dropped Baylor off for another week on the campus to go to EFY and we headed to the cabin for the 4th.

The trip to Utah.

This year I decided to take my boys up to BYU for football camp. So we piled in the car and took 2 days to drive up tho Utah.

Cousin Courtney came with us to go to tennis camp and Madey came along for the ride. We were loaded.

When we got to Provo we couldnt get over how much water there was everywhere and how green and beautiful it was!

We grabbed cousin Morganne on Sunday and visited Temple square in SLC and toured the conference center. My kids had never been to SLC and I had not been there since the center was built. We were amazed.

We did many more things on this trip, including going down the alpineslide in ParkCity, driving up the canyons, seeing movies, visiting with family and just enjoying the beautiful valley with the snow still on the mountains! I fell in love with PRovo and cant wait to go back next summer. Cade was just going to drive us up and go home the next day but he ended up staying the whole week with us!
