For about 3 years Cade has wanted to visit a little surf spot in a secluded resort area in Mexico, he finally said we are going and 2 weeks ago booked our trip. We flew down to Puerto Vallarta and drove about 40 minutes north to Punta de Mita. It was paradise. We stayed at a nice resort that was all inclusive, so the only time we left was to rent a board for Cade. I relaxed, read and layed on the beach for 3 days and Cade surfed and had the time of his life! We just wanted to send for our kids and stay down there it was so fun. Already we are trying to find a time to go back. Everything is better at the beach, why do we not live closer to it???
We also saw some whales right off the beach jumping out of the water, it was really cool, And we kayacked in the ocean which was relaxing and fun.

ah, yes, if only life were a beach! we've got a lot of sand here, but no water.
