Katherine Irene

For each family birthday my sister Katherine makes a special blog for that person, well this is for her.

Katherine Irene Allen was born when I was 12. I even remember the night of her birth due to some strange events! She has been perfect from that day forward. Katherine wore glasses from 9 months old and I think because of that some sort of smartness came upon her from that day! She could sing any song perfectly one tune when she was 2 and could pretty much do anything her older brothers and sisters did also. She NEVER got into anything like little kids do or caused any problems. Except the time when I came home from high school one day and we couldnt find her, a while later I found her in my room with bright red lipstick all over her body. That was pretty much all the mischief she caused! She was 7 when I got married and 10 when my first child was born. I was not around much her growing up years, in fact she was like an only child most of her life, but because of that she has a special relationship with our parents. Katherine is a perfectionist and wont settle. She taught herself gymnastics and dance and is great at it. She was a cheerleader all through high school and won state for high jump and track. She could have been the valedictorian of her class but was #4 because she took release time seminary instead of a credit that would have counted. Katherine NEVER got below an A in school throughout high school and maybe even to this day Im not sure about college, but because of that she got a brand new car and a full ride scholarship to BYU. I dont know really where she came from, the rest of us WERE blond, she has always been dark . Yes my sister is perfect and I love her very much! She is the best aunt and Im sure a great wife, Yes she married Devin Mitchell almost a year ago and we are glad to have him in our family. I wish I could be more like her in every way. Katherine you are amazing, have a great birthday!

You are so sweet to post about Kath. You are practically perfect too! She just happens to have a photographic memory to her advantage.
