Baylor and his cousin Jackson spent all day killing birds up in the orchard with their BB guns. They had Tate find them and bring them home, Cade wanted to make an example out of them and said if you kill it you eat it! I wish I had a picture of the look on their faces and the blood on their hands after they plucked and cleaned them!
Luckily we had a fire in the fireplace so they made themselves hobo dinner style doves.
They said it was a taste kind of like beef, but Jackson overloaded on the seasoning , good thing the meat was little!

I love empty living rooms for space! The kids can have a great time when it's too cold outside. And those pictures of Baylor and Jackson are great! Good lesson Cade.

Jeni -- my boys absolutely loved reading this post. . . they wish they were at your house for that. We haven't killed anything (yet), and that's fine by me. . . Good for Cade!
