Sundays.

Last Sunday we finally had time for Gunner to blow out his candles and eat his cake. His birthday was 3 days before. Our church is at 9am here, so after church we take naps and hang out at the house all day. Dinner is around 4 and then we go to our friends house and get together each Sunday night with them at 6. It makes for a long relaxing day.
This is what the boys do...We do not own a Wii or an Xbox , time wasters, but they each have their own DS and they play a game together on them. Notice the socks.
This was last Sunday.
Dad gives Remy horse rides around our "huge" house!
And today after dinner we ate our ice cream cones for dessert out by the pool , notice the socks again!
Yes the days attire after the church clothes are ripped off consists of mis-matched basketball clothes and the church socks, no wonder they have holes in them!
I was trying to get a good picture of at least one child, no cooperation! But Tate looks pretty funny in this last one!
On a side note, Gunner passed the sacrament for his first time today and got to collect fast offerings. Cade was quite confused that he had to drive Gunner around for the fast offerings instead of giving him the keys to the truck and telling him to drive himself like Baylor did in Mexico!Posted by Picasa

Glad to know we aren't the only ones without a wii or gaming system.

you can have our wii. we didn't get one til last year and it was a seriously considered decision. too long to explain why. but we only have the basic sports package and dance party. the kids ignore it most of the time. i keep the wands in my room and they have to check them in and out. good for you for abstaining!
