As I was running this morning with Tate at his school wellness "walk" I kept thinking about little things we do in our family that are either odd or I want to remember. So I thought Id write them down.
-Tate is super competitive, not outwardly but he has a drive that makes him want to be the best. Just like this morning it was a walk but he had to beat everyone so he ran for 1/2 hour straight.
-Remy is a BEAR to get dressed in the morning. She is SO particular about what she wears and her shoes have to match perfectly! And in her closet right now she has 36 pairs of shoes, in the mud room 4 and in Mexico I have no idea how many.
-Gunner would wear just underwear around all day if he could. Im sure he would wear nothing if it was allowed.
-Baylor doesnt like to eat. He wont eat breakfast or dinner, he does eat in the afternoon though. Its a fight to get food down him!
-My kids dont eat cake, ice cream, cookies or that kind of junkl...if i make it it will sit there till it gets thrown out. For special occasions and birthdays they will eat dessert though. Candy is another story though...it will get eaten!
-The boys favorite snack is potato chips with valentina salsa on them.
-We dont watch TV much except for sports, and man vs. food. The kids will watch the outdoor shows occasionally and phineas and ferb.
-I would wear yoga pants and tshirts everyday if I could.
-My 3 boys have NEVER fought. Remy stirs things up but its all for fun!
-Gunner doesnt have to try at anything, and he is VERY self motivated.
-Gunner throws up every time I make him eat green beans or zuchinni.
-I like to be at everything my kids are doing, I would go to school with them all day if I could.
-We LOVE to go to movies. And Cade and I watch previews of movies each night in bed on our ipads.
-Tate likes to take LONG baths.
-I would rather read a book than do almost anything.
-Tate gives really good, meaningful family prayers.
-Remy remembers everything.
-Baylor is so level headed and doesnt have one ounce of contention in him, he doesnt get mad. And that makes Cade mad! :)
-I have a hard time doing nothing, I dont relax easily. and Ive found I cannot sit until the house is spotless, except for my closet. My closet is the one place that I can close the door and leave the mess for later.

Jeni, that is such a great post! And, I'm so impressed that your boys never fight -- HOW DID YOU DO THAT!!?? Really, that's completely impressive.

You have such great kids. The other night, Devin commented that you need to have about 5 more. I agree! Baby Girl Mitchell wants a Romney cousin her age :)
