We began the first day of school 2011 at 5:30 this morning. Baylor opted to have the EARLY 5:45 seminary instead of the 7:15 seminary because he has early morning football and trainer sessions. So we carpool with a friend. They took this morning and we picked up at 6:30 brought him back here to eat and get ready for school. I woke up the other kids at 6:20 so they could do a jump rope workout and do their chores. We then ate and listened to Remy scream about how much her tooth hurt because last night she decided to play tag in the dark in the boys room and bumped her lip which made her tooth really loose. So after hearing her complain I pulled out her first tooth! That is the first tooth I have EVER pulled of any of my kids, It makes me get weak from the blood! Cades fingers were too big so he couldnt do it. After that we read scriptures and the kids rushed to get their shoes on and brush their teeth. As we were walking to the cars (Luckily Cade was here today to help me with all the drop offs) Baylor starts throwing up all over the bathroom, I guess he gagged while brushing his teeth! We are already late at that time so Gunner who has to be at school at 7:40 is out honking. I leave Cade to deal with Baylor say good bye and drive the 1/2 mile to the kids grade school and jr. high. As I get about 2 blocks from my house I see this line of cars that doesnt stop. So we pull over and walk the 1/4 mile more to the schools! I just drop off Gunner at the gate and let him walk in, I hope he got in fine. His back pack weighed about 40 lbs . And Remy Tate and I continue walking to the school next door, looking at the 4 police and 3 crossing guards and at least 100 cars going by. WOW these schools are big! Tates class had already gone into his class so we walk him in there. He is fine and then Rem and I go to the cafeteria where the kinder kids are dropped off, The teachers take the kids away from the parents in there and thats when I lost it! She seemed fine! As Im typing this I just got a text from Baylor to text him his schedule and room numbers because he forgot to take it to school! Ahhh. I am now off to BootCamp to work out my sadness and begin my world without kids!
I just realized in this picture that Tate wore his ratty old tennis shoes!!!! He will hear that from me!

Forget Boot camp-go back to bed!!! Loved the pics of your kids-sounds like the beginning of a fun-filled (and busy) school year! Are your kids going to school with the Hatch's?
