Today marks our 4 weeks living in the USA. In that short time I have come to realize some things ARE BETTER in Mexico:
-My maid comes every day to clean my house.
-My yardman comes 2 times a week.
-You dont pump your own gas.
-Tortilllas are AWFUL here. And the Tacos are much better in MX
-The carnicerias are much better in MX along with the beef!
-There is NO traffic taking your kids to school, and it only takes 4 minutes instead of the 1/2 hour here.
-MY 14 year old son can DRIVE HIMSELF EVERYWHERE! and actually all the boys can just get on the moto and go.
-You CAN talk on your cell phone while you drive.
-The men carry your groceries out to your car.
-The temple is 500 ft from my house.
-seminary is during school in stead of at 5:45 am
-You arent tempted to go out and shop while you are bored!
-THE KIDS CAN COME HOME FOR LUNCH, in stead of making 4 lunches and a breakfast to go.
-The wide open spaces are wonderful!
-Its a slower way of life!
Dont get me wrong, I do like El Paso but I just realize how different it really is South of the Border.

Yes, I think the maid thing would be 1st on the list!!!
I guess I should stop complaining. Feeding the kids lunch isn't such a bad thing.
i must admit that i pray every night that you will hate it there and come home when football is over. just kidding i don't pray about it, but i do think it. : )

This was good for me to read. I really do need to look for the good. We miss you guys too much. Fingers crossed you keep missing home.
unlike me, you ALWAYS saw/see the good things about the colonies experience. that helped me-A LOT-while we lived there.
